Terra Canis LIGHT menus are very low in fat and calories. The lower proportion of meat is compensated by an increased portion of healthy, low-calorie fruits and vegetables. High-calorie cereals are omitted. Enzymes contained in pineapple and papaya, coconut flour and artichoke leaves help to stimulate the metabolism. The fibers in psyllium seeds also increase the feeling of satiety. As a weight loss supplement, we recommend that the dog gets sufficient exercise daily (2-3 hours) on a regular basis.
